We recommend the flooring materials in interior design

We recommend using the following flooring materials in interior design: bricks, SPC stone-plastic composite flooring, and laminate wood flooring.

In interior design, the choice of flooring is an important decision as it not only affects the aesthetics of the space but also directly impacts the comfort of the users. As a professional interior design team, we are well-versed in the characteristics and suitability of various flooring materials to help clients make the best choice. Here are the commonly used flooring materials and their pros and cons:

Brick flooring :
Bricks offer a variety of styles, such as polished quartz bricks, ceramic bricks, slate bricks, and wood grain bricks, providing options to match the design requirements. For example, in wet areas like bathrooms, slip-resistant bricks can be chosen to prevent mold and slipping accidents. Alternatively, if you prefer the look of real wood, brick tiles with wood grain patterns can be installed. Bricks provide a wide range of color and style choices that can easily complement any interior design. However, they require professional installation and can be relatively expensive.

Advantages: Brick floors are durable and can withstand high pressure and wear. They are easy to clean and are not easily affected by stains and scratches.

Disadvantages: Installation of brick floors is more complex and requires professional skills and time. Additionally, brick floors can be hard and may not provide enough comfort, especially during long periods of standing or walking. As a professional interior design company, we recommend using ceramic tiles for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Ceramic tiles offer excellent performance and superior durability in wet environments. They can resist moisture and are easy to clean and maintain. At the same time, the versatility of design options for ceramic tiles allows us to achieve your desired design.

SPC stone-plastic composite flooring:
SPC flooring is a type of plastic flooring that incorporates marble powder during production, resulting in excellent waterproof and moisture resistance properties. Even in humid environments, SPC flooring will not deform or rot. There are different styles to choose from, such as click-lock, glueless, and back-glued options. SPC flooring is often used as an alternative to wood flooring. However, it is important to note that SPC flooring is hard and less resilient. If the ground is not flat, it may be difficult to install and may even crack due to prolonged foot traffic.

Advantages: SPC stone-plastic composite flooring is cost-effective and easy to install. It offers a wide range of design options and can mimic the appearance of other flooring materials such as wood or stone. They are durable, waterproof, and easy to clean.

Disadvantages: SPC stone-plastic composite flooring is relatively hard. If the ground is uneven, it may be challenging to install and may develop cracks due to long-term foot traffic. SPC flooring is waterproof and moisture-resistant, making it a suitable choice for homes with children, pets, or in humid areas. However, it is not recommended for installation in bathrooms as SPC flooring is not breathable. If water seeps into the bottom layer, it may become a breeding ground for bacteria.

Laminate wood flooring :
Laminate wood flooring is made up of different types of wood veneer pressed together, offering a natural, warm, and comfortable touch compared to materials like marble and tiles, which can be cold, slippery, and hard. Additionally, laminate flooring has a specially treated wear layer, providing good resistance to wear. However, if damaged, laminate wood flooring cannot be repaired and must be replaced. During production, laminate wood flooring may contain a certain amount of formaldehyde due to the adhesive used.

Advantages: The greatest advantage of laminate wood flooring is its natural, warm, and comfortable touch. It also has good wear resistance due to the special wear layer.

Disadvantages: If laminate wood flooring is damaged, it cannot be repaired and must be replaced. Laminate wood flooring may contain a certain amount of formaldehyde due to the adhesive used during production.
